AC Controller House Mount

Moving the Singing Tree’s to the garage roof lead to mounting the Light-O-Rama AC Controller’s to the side of the garage. I opted to use hangar bolts which have wood screw threads on one end and regular bolt threads on the other end. I pre-drilled holes in the house and used color matched chaulking and “double nutted” the bolt threads to drive them in with a drill using a socket nut driver.

Even though the LOR Professional controllers are very heavy tipping the scales at 20lbs each, I found using two hangar bolts on the top holes of the controllers was sufficient to secure them. I was not able to use the wing nuts as I’d hoped. Due to minimal clearance with the top of the controller I opted for using a regular nut and washer.
